First off, ah! I should really be doing my homework right now, rather than spend my time on this blog!
Secondly, I'm having some difficulty developing my own style for my artwork. It seems to me that there isn't any style or flair to the artwork that I produce. Everything comes out looking okay or good, but they're not exciting. I think developing a unique style would change all that. But as always, this is easier said than done. How would anyone go about making their own style anyways? Isn't it just something that we are born with, because the way we draw is the way we draw.
My weakest point, I feel, is composition for a new idea. I'm not good at planning or at layout. Everything i come up with has a problem somewhere and I'm not sure how to fix it.
That's why i like doodling on homework.
Take a walk in the woods. Find an artist, look at their work, and then follow their breadcrumbs.
ReplyDeleteVery few artists come up with a completely unique style, they simply take an existing one then combine and modify it with others.
