Flying Over the City

So, as you all know, I haven't been updating my blog ... and that is because I haven't done anything lately. But ideas have been flying around in my mind. I've been constantly thinking about sketches in my head... so busy thinking that I haven't actually tried to put anything down on paper.

Yeah... Maybe that'll be a good start...

Fairy Tales and Alice in Wonderland. It's obvious that because of all the Alice and Wonderland stuff going around, I've been influenced! haha. But I have this idea of a dark Alice (yes I know, it's been done already)... a dark, mysterious girl with a seductive grin. I have no idea how to go about doing this. Seductive? Mysterious? What does that look like?

I've always been fascinated by Little Red Riding Hood. Not exactly sure why. I've written skits, short stories and drew comics all about this little girl in a red hood. Maybe there's something about the possibility of Little Red turning evil or maybe she is the wolf itself. A she-wolf who lures men into the forests and then devours until there nothing left. A evil grin. How does that look like?

The eternal struggle between originality/creativity and reproduction/redundant. They've already been done by others and they've been done awesome-ly. So what's the point of me doing the same thing?
